Willow Hope Center

Mission

The mission of Willow Hope Center is to walk alongside women, students, and families by providing encouragement, education, empowerment, and resources that build confidence, strengthen resilience, and foster hope.

We are committed to creating a safe, confidential, and supportive space where women, students, and families feel seen, heard, valued, and cared for.

Through our services, we provide mental health coaching, crisis pregnancy coaching, parenting education classes, domestic abuse awareness and education through the Cait’s Voice Foundation, resource navigation, and optional faith-based coaching for those who desire spiritual support as part of their journey.

Through partnerships with organizations such as the Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center, local businesses, churches, food pantries, licensed trauma informed healthcare providers, and community agencies, we work to strengthen support networks throughout Decatur County and the surrounding communities.

  • In addition, she is currently completing a Coercive Control Advocacy Certification through Called to Peace Ministries, a year-long program consisting of 100 hours of specialized and comprehensive domestic abuse training, expected to be completed in December 2026.

From 2013 to 2018, Angela was employed by the Wilkes Pregnancy Care Center in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, a nonprofit women’s center dedicated to providing services, education, and support to the local community at no cost. During her time there, she served as Director of the Lifeguard Education Program, a relational education initiative that provided instruction to middle and high school students throughout the county. This experience strengthened her passion for education and community resources through seeing the impact of accessible information and prevention-based programming. Working at the Wilkes Pregnancy Care Center also provided years of experience in crisis-pregnancy advocacy and the facilitation of parenting classes.

Through Willow Hope, Angela’s mission is to create a safe and supportive place where individuals and families can find hope, practical help, and compassionate care. Her long term-goal is to develop Willow Hope into a place where a team of skilled men and women can work together to serve the unique needs of the community and expand access to support and resources.

Angela is not a licensed counselor and does not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe medications, or diagnose or treat mental or personality disorders. Her role is to provide coaching, support, encouragement, advocacy, and connection to helpful resources.
